    Up to five pages, written and put together around what your business actually does.

    Most people will find you on a phone. It will look right and it will load in under a second.

    Your name, where you are and your opening hours set up so Google knows who you are and shows you locally.

  • Hosted and backed up

    It stays online. Backups run on their own. You never see a bill for it.

  • Kept up to date

    Half an hour a month of changes — new prices, new photos, a job you are proud of.

  • Someone to ask

    Email me and you get me, not a ticket number.

A few things I have built.

  • Hive Mind

    Built for a friend's events collective

    A night in Hull that needed somewhere to put line-ups, photos and ticket links. Events, a gallery and a blog, all loading fast on a phone in a dark room with one bar of signal.

What it costs

£1,200

Up to five pages, built and live. Half up front, half when it goes live. Extra pages are £150 each.

£45 a month

Hosting, backups, your domain renewed, and up to half an hour a month of changes. Starts a month after you go live.

That is the price. No setup fee, no yearly licence, nothing that turns up later.

How it works

  1. We have a chat

    Half an hour, on the phone or in person. What you do, who your customers are, what you want the site to do for you.

  2. You pay half

    I send a written price and what is included. Nothing starts until we both have it in writing.

  3. I build it

    A week or two. You send me your words and photos, I send you the site to look at, and you get two rounds of changes.

  4. It goes live

    I put it online, hook it up to Google, and you pay the other half. Then I look after it.

Who you are dealing with

I am George. I build websites in the evenings from Manchester, alongside a full-time job writing software.

That is worth saying plainly, because you are reading this after an email from someone you have never met. I am one person. You will always be talking to me, and if something goes wrong there is nobody for me to blame.

I keep the number of jobs small on purpose. It means the ones I take get done properly.
